The MEINL Headliner Series Cajons deliver the classic cajon sound at an affordable price and can be used in Flamenco or World Music. They are also very useful during unplugged gigs for delivering the rhythmic foundation for a whole band when a full drum set can’t be used.

- Adjustable top frontplate corners and internal string system for cutting slaps and a sensitive, crisp snare effect
- The cajon measures 11 3/4" wide x 12" deep x 18" tall and features a Rubber Wood resonating body that dishes out deep, boomy, and punchy bass notes
- Metal strings span the inside of the Rubber Wood playing surface to add the dimension of a sizzle or snare sound and are completely adjustable for fine-tuning different tastes (small hex key is included inside the cajon, mounted on the center wood post)
- To dial-in the tension of the strings for loose or tight snare sounds, simply remove the hex wrench from inside the cajon and use it to turn the two outside screws located on the bottom front end of the instrument. These screws act like a strainer on a snare drum and are designed for easy, quick adjustments.
